About this role

The Position

CallRail’s Partner Program helps drive the growth and usage of CallRail to tens of thousands of indirect customers. This is a special opportunity to drive meaningful relationships with partners, assess future opportunities, and impact CallRail’s bottom line.

The ideal candidate will have experience in partner account sales including the recruiting, nurturing, and managing of a book of business. You will be expected to engage senior leaders at channel partner companies to facilitate and lead revenue growth opportunities. You will work closely with the channel and cross functional teams to ensure achievement of channel sales strategies that drive success.

Hybrid Work: We currently spend 2 days in the office (Tuesday + Wednesday) as a sales team for those that are vaccinated and comfortable enough to come in. The other 3 days of the week are remote/WFH.

 

What You'll Do

  • Be the primary point of contact for your assigned partners
  • Be responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly partner sales objectives
  • You will actively pursue revenue objectives generated from selling services through channel partners to their customer base of mostly SMBs
  • You will be responsible for building out your territory plan as well as working with selected partners in the areas of business development, business planning, marketing execution, and overall sales enablement activities
  • You will be expected to represent CallRail during all phases of engagement
  • You may from time to time be required to prospect for new partners
  • You will provide your channel partners and their customers with the highest standard of sales collaboration and success including:
    • Partner account segmentation (geo, production, activation, etc)
    • Partner account mapping where applicable
    • Partner account planning
    • QBRs & JBCs
    • Joint pipeline reviews and forecasting
    • Travel within your assigned territory to further support and develop your channel partners, attend and/or exhibit at industry trade shows and conferences as necessary
  • Consult on strategic marketing and operations planning with cross-functional teams, setting objectives and identifying methods to reach those goals
  • Work with the channel team and cross functionally with marketing, support, product, success, direct sales, and leadership teams to identify key issues and to tackle any that impede partner/client performance
  • Work with product and customer marketing to document and understand the ongoing changes in the channel landscape

 

What You’ll Need

  • Three to five years of experience in partner, channel or vendor type sales management
  • Sales or channel experience in SaaS, technology or marketing services
  • Ability to work in a high growth company, effectively balancing autonomy, alignment and direction
  • An ability to perform analytics to evaluate partner success, pipeline and territory requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong ability to build, persuade and communicate business rationale
  • Proven effectiveness collaborating in small teams and desire to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels of management
  • Ability and willingness to travel 20-25%
  • Strong organizational skills and professional business practices
